You little trend setter!

Turns out The Infant of Prague is the Lady Gaga of Heaven.  Here He is in all his glory and here comes copy-cat/trend conscience St. Peter:
WHO KNEW!  I bet in Heaven there's a mall with like some kind of Jesusy American Eagle that just sells fluffy red robes and glittery crowns.

LIKE THIS! JUST LIKE THIS!
Holy God i AM this child....ugh I can't get enough of this show....

"Greatest Saint of Modern Times"

given a weed-filled bathtub shrine.  There aren't words.  This is one of those things that's more kitsch than kitsch is itself.

Seeking the intercession of St. Francis

Hey readers,
if you thought posting was light before, get ready for a world of disappointment because I'm sorry to say we've just lost our beloved pug Percy.  He was 17, very sick, blind, deaf, weak...and was put down very peacefully this morning. I probably will not be in the mood to laugh at crappy art for a while.

Here he is at the peak of his career.  Slash low point of his career.
Note, disregard my ramblings at the end, I actually love him and didn't give birth to him.

Keep a bucket near

Yep.

......yep.

It's beyond words. I had a lot of snarky comments about fresh expressions...but....

yep.
Watch that video, and be forewarned it's beyond cringe worthy it's vomitrocious.

My Motto

In full effect

If you can put glitter on it, put glitter on it.
Or, in Latin around St. Kitch's future family crest (which is Our Lady of Fatima riding an Eagle painted in the colours of the American Flag.)

Si vos can loco niteo in is , loco niteo in is.

Also, little known fact: the virgin mary was a strong black woman.

The flying rose petals are a nice detail.

Saint Sebastion

Usually there's some subtle homoeroticsm in depictions of the martyrdom of st. Sebastian.  The artist here did not think it necessary to be subtle.

p.s. beloved readers, i must confess that it is going to be kind of light here for a while, since I just got a job and have to go for training and stuff...sooooo yeah!  enjoy what's here, there'll be more but for a little while I'm going to be a bit busy as a cashier to bitch about kitsch.

Happy Ascension Sunday!

Here is the most brilliantly lazy statue of the Lord ever created.  That, or a very have statue on the floor above has finally fallen through.

June

June is the month given up to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.  The Sacred heart is one of my favourite devotions, and that's why I plan to dress all future children in this monstrosity:

Another reader submitted entry!

Yay!  The previous post was read!  So here's what's so fantastic...

.......is that...........Arthur? Like...Fern?  Also, is the ME attitude currently high on some sort of hallucinogen.  And I'm certain the 4th beatitude didn't mean "be a prude". Those hands are about to clutch those pearls...no joke take a peak.

Then again I'd be lying if I said I'd never said this about something.
