I can't believe I missed it!

With exams and essays and a new puppy it totally slipped my mind that the Queen of Kitsch's feast day was a couple of days ago.
Allow me to make up for it!

Do you want her on a rug?!
Get her on a rug!

Do you want her on a terrible painting?
Get her on a terrible painting!

Do you want her on a watch?
Get her on a watch!

Want her on a quilt?
Get her on a quilt!

Ok, you get the idea.  Hope you all enjoyed your Our Lady of Guadalupe tacos and guacamole.
But here is the Thing de Resistance.

Once her husband being buried upside down in your yard has gotten your house sold, it's time to freshen up with some non-magic magic Mary soap!

You will all have to be forgiving

Because I'm about to unleash a flood of pride.
I'm on my way to confession after this, I promise.

Over at The Crescat it's the time of year where we all celebrate Catholics on the internet with The Cannon Ball Awards, and I've been nominated!
I'm nominated for Snarkiest Catholic Blog (how dare you.) so my very dear and beloved readers, head on over there and vote for me!  OR for someone who deserves it!

GO AND VOTE OR I WILL SEND A HERD OF OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE'S AFTER YOU.
You know I've got them waiting.

The flying rose petals are a nice detail.

This masterpiece was found by the Crescat and is stolen   now a member of our little family.

although, she doesn't seem to appreciate it the way I do.

Snuggle Up

With this. Thing. Hardcore Spanish-chola type snakes, mexican gangster guadaloupe....celtic (CELTIC?) loops and knots at the bottom for the irish cholas....
It's perfect for Lent, too, you know what I mean?

Always looking out for you

Found on my trip to universal studios.

It is Betty Boop as Our Lady of Guadaloupe.

Or, Boopaloupe.

Happy New Year!

Here at St. Kitsch we always do things a little differently.

Here is old man 2010. With his...er...life friend old man winter. I believe the term is "silver daddy". If 30 Rock is correct.

And welcome baby 2011!
